Pete Rivera is a seasoned firearms instructor and proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran with a deep commitment to precision, discipline, and mission-focused training. A USMC Expert-qualified marksman, Pete honed his skills in one of the world’s most demanding military environments before bringing that same level of intensity and professionalism to the civilian and law enforcement training world.

Certified by both the USCCA and NRA, Pete is a highly capable instructor known for curriculum development that evolves with modern threats, technology, and training needs. He specializes in multi-discipline firearms instruction, delivering hands-on, fundamentals-driven training that emphasizes shot placement, sight alignment, breath control, and real-world marksmanship under pressure.

Outside the classroom, Pete is an accomplished competitor in both USPSA and The Tactical Games, further sharpening his skills and demonstrating his credibility on the range. At Guardian Training & Consulting, he leads courses designed for shooters of all backgrounds—from brand-new gun owners to experienced professionals seeking to refine their craft.
