Countering the Mass Shooter Threat

LEVEL: Basic/Fundamental

This course is designed for every school, house of worship, and family in America… Want certainty in uncertain times and incidents? This is the course for you.

In this class, you’ll review an analysis of data gathered from 48 mass shootings that have occurred since Columbine, to determine what can be learned from these tragedies, including deterrence, mitigation, and defense from mass shootings. This course also provides information on warning signs of potential mass shooter suspects and steps taken to prevent such tragedies from occurring.

This deterrence, mitigation, and defense will include concepts of Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED) as well as human-factors of security.

You’ll also learn whether “gun-free” zones figure into the planning of these mass murderers; whether victim response at any mass shooting has made a difference; and whether prompt response of unarmed or armed individuals to include law enforcement or concealed carry individuals make a difference.

This course summarizes this data with a comprehensive plan designed to eliminate the scourge of these shooters once and for all.
