Andrew Altamirano brings a powerful blend of military discipline, technical expertise, and range safety leadership to Guardian Training & Consulting. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran with a decade of IT systems engineering experience and deep roots in firearms safety, Andrew stands as a guardian of precision, preparedness, and professionalism on the range.

After earning his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Arizona State University, Andrew served honorably in the United States Marine Corps from 2008 to 2013. During his tenure, he managed high-security IT operations for Marine Corps Combat Development Command and deployed advanced mobile communications platforms in support of U.S. military leadership. His technical proficiencies include cryptographic systems, classified network operations, emergency communications, and secure mobile command posts—experiences that continue to shape his meticulous and mission-first approach to firearms instruction.

Following his military service, Andrew held a senior IT systems engineer role at GoDaddy for over a decade, overseeing end-user services for more than 1,200 employees, supporting global communications systems, and leading major corporate events.

Currently, as a Range Safety Officer at Rio Salado Sportsman’s Club and a USCCA Certified Instructor, Andrew is responsible for enforcing safety protocols, mentoring shooters, and training new range staff. He leads with calm confidence and a strong safety ethos, backed by certifications in emergency medical response, HAZMAT, and tactical network security.
