Bill Morgan – Firearms & Tactics Instructor & Explosives Expert

Bill Morgan is a retired United States Air Force Chief Master Sergeant with a distinguished career in Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), where he served as a bomb and IED technician. Achieving the rank of Chief Master Sergeant is a rare honor—representing less than the top 1% of the entire enlisted Air Force—and stands as a testament to Bill’s leadership, professionalism, and excellence. Recognized as one of the leading experts in explosives, his decades of operational and instructional experience have made him a trusted authority in both military and federal law enforcement training environments.

Following his Air Force career, Bill continued his service to national security as a Firearms Instructor with the Federal Air Marshal Service, training agents at the Federal Air Marshal Academy in Atlantic City, New Jersey. During this time, he was also Karen Logan’s firearms instructor, helping to develop the very skills she now applies as Co-Founder and CEO of Guardian Training & Consulting. His expertise in precision firearms instruction and counterterrorism response helped shape the standards of one of the most elite federal law enforcement agencies.

Bill is a founding member of the Triple Nickel Society (Coin #11), a prestigious fraternity of firearms instructors who have successfully completed one of the most demanding performance standards in the world. Only seven original members were awarded the gold founding coin, making Bill one of a select few to hold this distinction. His role as a founder of the Society represents not just elite marksmanship, but a lifelong dedication to advancing the craft of firearms instruction and mentoring future generations of trainers.

In addition, Bill is a Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) Firearms Instructor Training Program (FITP) Certified Firearms Instructor and a USCCA Certified Instructor, extending his expertise into both federal and civilian training arenas.
