Law Enforcement Training & Certifications

Guardian Training & Consulting delivers recent, relevant, and realistic training for law enforcement officers, military personnel, and certified security professionals. Our nationally recognized instructors provide pathways to respected industry certifications, with a majority of courses eligible for continuing education credits toward NRA Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor certifications. In addition, a myriad of courses are approved and certified by AZPOST and the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST).

Certification Opportunities

• NRA Law Enforcement Instructor Development Schools – Taught by our NRA LE Staff Firearms Instructor (1 of only 32 nationwide). Graduates earn the credential of NRA Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor in disciplines such as handgun, shotgun, patrol rifle, and tactical shooting.

• IADLEST NCP-Approved Shooting at the Speed of Efficiency – Pistol (4-Hour or 8-Hour) – Guardian’s flagship performance pistol course, nationally certified through the IADLEST National Certification Program (NCP), ensuring recognition for POST/CEU credit across multiple states.

• AZPOST-Certified Courses – A wide selection of Guardian’s programs meet Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training (AZPOST) requirements, ensuring accredited continuing education and skills development for Arizona officers.

Additional Training Courses

Guardian offers a wide range of specialized training, including:

• Firearms: pistol, rifle, shotgun, red dot integration, low light, and more

• Tactics: officer survival, tactical decision-making, and threat mitigation

• Active Shooter Response: scenario-driven response strategies for solo officers and teams

• Medical: bleeding control, trauma care, and mass-casualty response

Professional Affiliations & Presentations

Guardian is a current NRA Law Enforcement Affiliate Organization, a Life Member of the National Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors Association (NLEFIA), and active members and presenters with both IALEFI (International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors) and ILEETA (International Law Enforcement Educators & Trainers Association). We also present at the Michigan Tactical Officers Association, and have taught at the prestigious Staccato Ranch (Texas) and Staccato Vegas (Nevada), bringing our training expertise to tactical teams, officers, and armed professionals nationwide.
