Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) Concealed Carry Permit Application

• Two (2) FBI/DPS Fingerprint Cards
• On-site Professional Fingerprinting Services
• Pre-Addressed Envelope for Application Submission
• Arizona Concealed Carry Permit Training Certificate (delivered via email after class)

Please note: The $25 permit packet fee does not include the $60 background check fee paid directly to the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS).

Course Eligibility & Age Requirements

Accessible Training for All Responsible Citizens!

You must be 21 years or older to apply for an official Arizona Concealed Carry Permit.

• Participants under the age of 18 are welcome to attend with a signed parental waiver, which must be completed prior to the class start time on the day of training.
• While the course is tailored toward permit eligibility, individuals of all experience levels are encouraged to attend for the educational value alone.

Our inclusive approach ensures every participant gains valuable legal, practical, and safety-focused instruction—regardless of age or experience level.

What You’ll Learn in This 4-Hour CCW Class

Legal Clarity. Tactical Awareness. Informed Responsibility.

Our curriculum is built on a foundation of legal understanding, responsible carry practices, and real-world preparedness. Topics covered include:

• Arizona Revised Statute (ARS) and United States Code (USC) as they pertain to firearm ownership, carry rights, and lawful use.

• Self-defense laws and the legal application of physical and deadly physical force, supported by current state and federal case law.

• Post-incident procedures and concerns, including your legal responsibilities and mental/emotional considerations.

• Practical resources and support networks for further education and training.

***This is a non-shooting class!There is no live fire portion. Focus is placed entirely on legal instruction and practical preparedness.

By the end of this 4-hour session, you’ll walk away with the legal insight and strategic awareness needed to carry with confidence, clarity, and responsibility.
